Moreover in the same (vill was) a freeman made over as an estate (iiberatus pro terra), but he does not belong to the manor of which Ranulfs predecessor had commen- dation and soke. And he had 30 acres. Then as now I plough. Then it was worth 10//., and afterwards 12//., now 20/;. But it could not render within loOs. (of that amount). In Clamesforda [Glemsford] Blacuin under Siward's commendation held 30 acres as a manor T.R.E. Worth 6j. Garin holds it. Saint Etheldreda has the soke.
