The neck of forepart and back should have the stand of collar grown on.

It is then a very simple matter to give any shape desired to the rest of the collar.

Plenty of spring should be given to the outer edge.

15 to 2 is 2 inches.

There is no need to place the seam in any particular place; indeed, if desired, it can be entirely dispensed with.
