[Exit Valet—the Cornet steps in.

OCTAVIO.

Ha! Cornet—is it you? and from Count Galas?

Give me your letters.

CORNET.

Trusted it not to letters.

OCTAVIO.

CORNET.

He bade me tell you—Dare I speak openly here?
