Dr. Jennings P. Chu

朱鎮魁字君毅

(Chu Pin-k'uei)

Mr. Jennings Pinkwei Chu was born in 1895, at Chia-shan, Chekiang, China. In 1911, he entered Tsing Hua College, Peking, where he graduated in 1916. He was then sent to the United States, entering John Hopkins University from which he received his A. B. degree in 1918. He took one year of graduate work in education there in 1918-19. From 1919-22, he was transferred to Teachers College, Columbia University, specializing in educational statistics and educational administration. From Columbia he received his A. M. degree in 1920 and his Ph. D. degree in 1922. He was appointed Research Scholar of Teachers College 1921-22, appointed lecturer
