Twelve villagers and 15 borderers occupy 10 ploughlands. Two mills pay 25 ſhillings, and here are 17 acres of meadow. The paſture is 3 miles and 3 quarters of a mile long, and 2 miles and a quarter broad. William holds of this land 5 hides, and Harold 1 hides. An Engliſhman holds 3 hides, and they have 10 ploughlands. The prieſt has 1 hide. Thoſe who held theſe lands T.R.E. could not alienate themſelves from the church. When the biſhop received it, it was valued at 34 pounds. At preſent, the demeſne is worth 20 pounds 1 and what the prieſt and military men have, 19 pounds.
