Lands of the Bishop of Salisbury.

I. The biſhop of Saliſbury holds Potterne., It was aſſeſſed T.R.E. at 52 hides. Here are 40 ploughlands. Ten hides are in demeſne, where are 6 ploughlands, 4 ſervants, and 5 coliberts. Here are 29 villagers and 40 borderers, with 30 ploughlands. Six mills pay 43 ſhillings and 4 pence. Here are 40 acres of meadow. The paſture is 3 miles and 3 quarters long, and a mile and a half and 3 furlongs broad. The biſhop's demeſne is and was worth 60 pounds.
