Earl Harold united them into 1, and it was aſſeſſed at 9 hides. Here are 8 ploughlands. Three hides and 8 ſervants are in demeſne. Fifteen villagers, 6 borderers, and 4 cottagers, occupy 5 ploughlandsi and the other 3 ploughlands are in the demeſne. Here are 2 mills, and 200 acres of meadow. The paſture is a mile and a half long, and 3 quarters of a mile broad. It was, and is, worth 10 pounds.

Lands of the Canons of Lisieux.

1. The canons of Liſieux hold Devrel. Eddeva held it T.R.E. and it was aſſeſſed at 4 hides. Here are 3 ploughlands. Three hides and a half, wanting 3 acres, are in demeſne, where is 1 ploughland and 2 fervants. Six cottagers and 1 villager occupy 1 ploughland. Here are 3 acres of meadow. The paſture is half a mile long, and 3 furlongs broad. It was valued at 40 ſhillings; now at 70.
