7. Alentone was aſſeſſed T.R.E. at 4 hides. Here are 2 ploughlands. Two hides and a half are in demeſne, where is 1 ploughland and 3 ſervants. One villager and 4 cottagers occupy 1 ploughland. The mill pays 20 ſhillings. Here are 5 acres of meadow. The paſture is 3 furlongs in length, and 1 broad. The Earl Harold held this manor. There are 4 other hides in the ſame manor, which the Earl Harold unjuſtly withheld from the church of Ambreſbury, according to the teſtimony of the County Court; but at preſent the church enjoys them.

8. Elecome was aſſeſſed T.R.E. at 27 hides. Here are 8 ploughlands. Twenty-four hides are in demeſne, where are 2 ploughlands and 6 ſervants. Three villagers and 14 borderers
