There are 12 acres of meadow, and 12 acres of paſture. It was, and is, worth 40 ſhillings.

5. The wife of Edricus alſo holds Caleſtone under Ernulfus. Her hiuſand held it T.R.E. and it was then aſſeſſed at 2 hides and a half. Here are 3 ploughlands. Of theſe, 1 hide and a yardland are in demeſne, and conſiſt of a ploughland. One villager, 10 borderers, and 18 cottagers, occupy 1 ploughland. The rent of the mill is 15 ſhillings. Twelve acres of meadow, and 6 acres of wood. The paſture is 3 furlongs in length, and 1 in breadth. A burgage in Calne pays 11 pence. It was, and is, worth 4 pounds.

6. Benzelinus holds Standone under Ernulfus. Bridlric held it T.R.E. and it was aſſeſſd at 2 hides. Here are 2 ploughlands. One of them is in demeſne. The mill lets for 6 ſhillings. Four acres of meadow. The paſture is 3 furlongs ſquare. The wood is 3 furlongs
