19. Edward holds 1 hide and ayardland in Chegejlei of Alured. Here is 1 ploughland. Half aploughland with 1 ſervant is in demeſne. Here is 1 cottager, 1 acre of meadow, and the wood is 1 acre ſquare. Half a houſe in Malmeſberie pays ſixpence. It has been valued at 40 ſhillings; now at 10. Excluſive of this land, Durandus de Glouceftre has half a yardland, which the ſame Edward held T.R.E. Amalricus de Drewes unjuftly deprived him of it, as all the Thanes of the ſhire can witneſs.

10. Ofmundus holds half a hide of Alured in Horningham, and it was aſſeſſed at ſo much T.R.E. Colfwen formerly held it, and could go wherever he pleafed. Here is 1 ploughland with 4 borderers. Here are 8 acres of wood,
