8. Robert holds Salteharpe of Humphrey. Ulwinus held it T.R.E. and it was aſſeſſed at 10 hides. Here are 4 ploughlands. Eight of the hides are in demeſne, where are 1 ploughlands and 3 ſervants. Nine borderers occupy 1 ploughland. Here are 20 acres of meadow, and 30 acres of paſture. It has been valued at 100 ſhillings; now only at 4 pounds.

9. Robert holds Clive of Humphrey. Edwinus held it T.R.E. and it was aſſeſſed at 8 hides. Here are 4 ploughlands. Six of the hides are in demeſne, where are 2 ploughlands and 4 ſervants. Two villagers and 7 borderers occupy the other 2 ploughlands. Here are 20 acres of meadow, and the ſame quantity of paſture. Three burgages in Crichelade pay 3 pence. It was, and is, worth 4 pounds.
