Land of Richard, Son ofGislebert.

Richard, ſon of Earl Giſlebert, holds of the King Sudtone. And Berengerius holds it of him. Ulwardus held it T.R.E. and it was aſſeſſed at 10 hides. Here are 6 ploughlands. Seven hides are in demeſne, where are 3 ploughlands and 5 ſervants. Six villagers and 9 borderers occupy 3 ploughlands. The mill pays 10 ſhillings. Here are 12 acres of meadow, and 3 acres of wood. The paſture is 3 quarters of a mile long, and 3 furlongs broad. Five burgages pay 50 pence. It was, and is, worth 6 pounds.
