9. The King holds Ruſteſelve. Ghida held it T.R.E. and it was aſſeſſed, with all it's appendages, at 37 hides. Here are 27 ploughlands and a half. Nineteen of theſe hides are in demeſne, wherein are 12 ploughlands and 37 ſervants. Twenty-eight villagers and 40 borderers occupy 14 ploughlands. Here are 5 mills of the value of 72 ſhillings, and 112 acres of meadow. The paſture is 5 miles and a quarter long, and 2 miles and a quarter broad. The wood is a mile and a half long, and three quarters of a mile broad. It was worth, and is ſtill worth 32 pounds and 10 ſhillings. Saint Wandregiſil holds the church of this manor with 2 hides, wherein are 2 ploughlands and a half. It is worth 40 ſhillings.
