lagers and 66 borderers occupy 39 ploughlands. Eight mills pay 7 pounds and 6 ſhillings. There are 130 acres of meadow, and the paſture is 12 miles ſquare. The wood is 6 miles ſquare. This manor pays 111 pounds and 11 ſhillings by weight. But the Engliſh value it at the ſame ſum by tale. Rumoldus the prieſt has the church of this manor, with I hide, which is worth 40 ſhillings.

13. The King holds Cumbe. Ghida held it T.R.E. and it was aſſeſſed at 23 hides and a half. Here are 20 ploughlands. Eleven hides are in demeſne, wherein are 3 ploughlands and 7 ſervants. Twenty-eight villagers, 7 borderers, and 43 cottagers, occupy the other 17 ploughlands. Two mills pay 25 ſhillings, and there are 40 acres of meadow, and the paſture is a mile and a half ſquare, and there are 10 acres of coppice.
