14. The King holds Bromham. Earl Harold held it, and it was aſſeſſed at 20 hides. There are 10 ploughlands. Ten hides are in demeſne, where are 2 ploughlands and 4 ſervants. Fifteen villagers, 6 borderers, and 30 cottagers, occupy the other 8. Here are 2 mills of the value of 5 ſhillings, and 40 acres of meadow, and 12 acres of paſture. The wood is 5 furlongs in length and 3 in breadth. It was valued at 20 pounds; now at 24 pounds. The prieſt holds a hide and a yardland under the King, which is part of the common land of the tenants. It is worth 15 ſhillings.

15. The King holds Otone. Queen Eddid held it, and it was aſſeſſed at 30 hides, wanting 1 yardland. Here are 30 ploughlands. Thirteen hides and a yardland are in demeſne, and there are 2 ploughlands and 12 ſervants.
