17. The King holds Wintreburne. Queen Eddid held it, and it was aſſeſſed at 2 hides and a yardland. There are 12 ploughlands. Half the yardland is in demeſne, where are 3 ploughlands, and 11 ſervants, and 5 coliberts. Fifteen villagers and 15 borderers occupy 8 ploughlands. Here is a mill of the value of 10 ſhillings, and 8 acres of meadow. The paſture is 3 miles ſquare. It was worth, and is worth 23 pounds. The church of this manor has 1 hide of this land. The abbey of [1] Jumieges holds this church, with the land, which is worth 60 ſhillings.
