When ready for the stripe pull the yellow out about 6 inches wide and 12 inches long. On each side of this place a red stripe about one-half an inch wide and stick it to the yellow. Pull it out twice as long as the batch, cut in two and place on the batch on opposite sides.

Cinnamon stick is made by taking a small piece of the candy (about 1 pound) and pulling it white for the stripe. The remainder of the batch should be colored a deep red and flavored with Oil of Cassia or Cinnamon. Knead until stiff and stripe with two wide white stripes.
