TURNER, Margaret Scott (Mrs. L. M.), born November 16, 1879, in Oakland, California, daughter of Chaplain (U. S. A.) Winfield and Helen Brown Scott, a resident of Hayward for twenty-six years. Married to Le Grand M. Turner. Children: Dorothy and Winfield Scott. Former high school teacher. Active in all civic matters; takes special interest in educational and legislative affairs. One of the founders of local Health Center. Graduated from the University of California, 1901.
