WILLIAMS, Cora Lenore, (Miss), born, 1865, in Pleasant Valley, Minn., a resident of Berkeley, California for 20 years. Educator; instructor, Oakland High School 1895-1902; Instructor of Mathematics, University of California, 1907-08; degrees Ph. B., M. S. (U.C.); author: “Creative Involution,” “Olympus” and other books; founder and head of Williams Institute. Member: U. C. Faculty Women's Club, League of American Penwomen. WILSON, Bird M. (Miss), born in southern Illinois, daughter of Hazen and Susan P. Dean Wilson, a resident of Oakland, California, for thirteen years. Attorney and court reporter. Active in legislative work for laws affecting the status of women, Juvenile Court work, public speaker for civic improvement, publicity writer and editor of club publications, also writer of short stories. WILSON, Edith Christensen (Mrs.), born in Oakland, California, May 23, 1899, daughter of Anton and Olivie Christensen, a life-long resident of the state. Married to David Salisbury Wilson. Is a prominent attorney at law, being associated with her husband under the firm name of Wilson & Wilson, Attorneys. Assistant District Attorney of San Francisco, prosecuting cases in Women's Court. WILSON, Flora New-Harrod, (Mrs.), born October 2, 1864, in Salem, Indiana, daughter of Dr. Sanford Hickman and Margaret Rosalie Thompson Harrod, a resident of California for twenty-five years. Married to Erasmus Wilson. Interested in Fine Arts; has traveled extensively, twice around the globe, and several times to Europe. Her activities have been mentioned in “A Woman of the Century.” and in last de luxe edition of the American Historical Society. Member: Women's Athletic Club, Ebell Club, L. A. WILSON, Josephine Young (Mrs. W. H.), a native of California, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wesliey Perkins Young, a resident of San Francisco for thirty-eight years. Married to William Harold Wilson. Children: Lyman Foster Martin. Former school teacher. Founded S. F. Branch, League of American Pen Women; founded Sacramento Branch, Pen Women. Leader of literary department, S. F. District and City Federation. Was one of the “thirty prominent women of the West,” appointed and publicly announced for Woman's Day, held in S. F., March 15, 1928. For nine years Woman's Club editor, S. F. Examiner; dramatic critic, book-reviewer, society editor. News Letter. Author of eight pageants, short stories and verse. Feature writer.
