It overlaps less when it has more of the screen to display. See A certificate for the electoral vote for Rutherford B. Hayes and William A. Wheeler for the State of Louisiana dated 1876.
In order to avoid this entirely, we would need to prepare it based on a particular minimum width. There is no guideline or policy on that currently, so I'm not sure this warrants the transcription being called problematic yet. John Vandenberg (chat) 00:51, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
