Uncle Sammie's Soldiers

We're Uncle Sammie's soldiers
  And we've went across the sea
To fight for home and country,
  For life and liberty;
And on the field of battle
  We will all take our stand,
Fighting for our loved ones
  And our native land.

At the end of each verse.
For we're Uncle Sammie's soldiers,
  And we're going to dare and do,
For we're Uncle Sammie's soldiers
  And we'll fight for you.

For we're Uncle Sammie's soldiers
  And we never will give in;
We are going to be victorious
  And help the battle win.
When the shot and shell is flying
  And the ranks are strewn with dead,
We will still keep our banner flying,
  With the eagle overhead.
