Hardwicke's Science-Gossip

British popular-science periodical, intended to be the scientific equivalent to Notes and Queries. Running from 1865 to 1893, it was succeeded by Science-Gossip. It was edited at first by Mordecai Cubitt Cooke, and from 1872 by John Ellor Taylor.
