The Aubertin family descend from refugees from Metz, who went to Neufchatel.

Paul Aubertin (born 1650)		=		Judith Figuier (living in 1718).
a son,
Peter Aubertin, of London, merchant, born at Neufchatel, 1725, died at Banstead, Surrey, in 1808.	$\scriptstyle {\left.{\begin{matrix}\ \\\ \end{matrix}}\right\}\,}$	=		Ann (born 1730, died 1825).
