Public Order Act may refer to:
  • Public Order Act 1936 (1 Edw. 8 & 1 Geo. 6 c. 6), an UK Act of Parliament that prohibits political uniforms and quasi-military uniforms. Provisions related to the regulation of public assemblies, prohibition of offensive weapons and breach the peace were later repealed.
  • Public Order Act 1963 (c. 52), an UK Act of Parliament that amends Public Order Act 1936 increases the penalties of certain offences.
  • Public Order Act 1986 (c. 64), an UK Act of Parliament that codifies the offences of riot and affray and creates other public order offences. Also regulates public assemblies, prohibits incitement to racial hatred (later expanded to religious and sexual orientation-based hatred). Provisions related to exclusion orders were repealed by Football Supporters Act 1989 (c. 37)
  • Public Order Act 2009, an Act by the Parliament of Singapore that regulates and provides for the security for public assemblies and processions, and empowers the police to preserve and maintain public order. The Act made advance notice and police permission required for lawful public assemblies and processions, and a one-man assembly is legally possible under the Act.
  • Public Order Act 2023 (c. 15), an UK Act of Parliament to criminalize acts of locking-on, tunneling, interfering with critical infrastructure and abortion services, and for related matters.
