| In the name of God, the Almighty, the Most Merciful. | Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi | |
| 099:001 | When the Earth shakes its shaking. | Itha zulzilati al-ardu zilzalaha |
| 099:002 | And the Earth brings out its loads. | Waakhrajati al-ardu athqalaha |
| 099:003 | And man will Say: "What is wrong with it?" | Waqala al-insanu ma laha |
| 099:004 | On that Day it will inform its news. | Yawma-ithin tuhaddithu akhbaraha |
| 099:005 | That your Lord had inspired it to do so. | Bi-anna rabbaka awha laha |
| 099:006 | On that Day, the people will be brought out in throngs to be shown their works. | Yawma-ithin yasduru alnnasu ashtatan liyuraw aAAmalahum |
| 099:007 | So whoever does an atoms weight of good will see it. | Faman yaAAmal mithqala tharratin khayran yarahu |
| 099:008 | And whoever does an atoms weight of evil will see it. | Waman yaAAmal mithqala tharratin sharran yarahu |
