JOHN CODD, Esq.
[Post-Captain of 1821.]

Was made commander, May 2nd, 1810; appointed to the Calliope brig, of 10 guns, on the North Sea station, Dec. 6th, 1813; to the Trave troop-ship, June 13th, 1815; and advanced to post rank, July 19th, 1821.

Captain Codd married, first, in 1801, Miss Watts, of Newchurch, in the Isle of Wight; and, secondly, Feb. 18, 1818 the only daughter of John Baker, of St. Michael’s Mount, co. Cornwall, Esq.
