[Bambridge] composed the hymn tune 'St. Asaph', which was used in the Standard Edition (1916) of Hymns Ancient and Modern. Also used by Arthur Sullivan in conjunction with the hymn by Sabine Baring-Gould 'Through the night of doubt and sorrow', in his compilation Church Hymns (1874).
