Poor old Robinson Crusoe!
Poor old Robinson Crusoe!
They made him a coat
Of an old nanny-goat,
I wonder how they could do so
With a ring-a-ting tang,
And a ring-a-ting tang,
Poor old Robinson Crusoe!

Jack be nimble,
And Jack be quick
And Jack jump over
The candlestick.

Dr. Foster went to Gloucester
In a shower of rain
He stepped in a puddle, right up to his middle,
And never went there again.

Fiddle-de-dee, fiddle-de-dee,
The Fly shall marry the Bumblebee.
They went to church, and married was she:
The Fly has married the Bumblebee.

Drawn by Arthur Rackham.

A TEN O’CLOCK SCHOLAR

A dillar, a dollar,
A ten o’clock scholar,
What makes you come so soon?
You used to come at ten o’clock,
But now you come at noon
