A strange Greek diacritic[edit]

Take a look at page 435, right column, twelfth line from the bottom. The text says something like this: "Greek χαίρω, “am glad” (for *χαρῐω), where the ῐ (y) of the suffix". I am not sure about the spelling of the letter ῐ. In the printed page it looks like the diacritic is below it, but i couldn't find anything like it in any list of Greek letters. I used "Iota with vrachy", but it may be wrong. Can anyone correct it, please? --Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 18:41, 9 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
