Confusion with a cousin[edit]

This entry seems to mix up two people from the same family.

Thomas Hanway Bigge is a well-documented banker, son of w:Thomas Charles Bigge, who died in 1824 at the age of 41. The dates mean that the banker can't be the matriculand here. And indeed the w:Charles William Bigge on this page of Foster was his elder brother, but given a different father. A full family tree for the Bigges is in the History of Northumberland by John Hodgson, vol. 2; and gives a cousin as this person. Charles Matthews (talk) 09:03, 29 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

See w:Thomas Hanway Bigge and its talk page for more. The "other" Thomas Bigge with whom this entry is conflated has dates 1766 to 1851. Plenty of confusion around. Charles Matthews (talk) 09:58, 24 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
