I've searched and find no sign of Dostoyevsky having written THE PRIEST AND THE DEVIL. I would think it unlikely he would have had done so, on the wall of his cell! --

We can, and do, add footnotes to clarify, but only when they are pure fact and not disputable. John Vandenberg 23:41, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
