"he/be left on one side"[edit]

@Onceinawhile: The scribd PDF you provided as a source reads 'he left', which contextually makes sense, referring to Faisal I, and similar to other sentence structures in the same document. Is there a reason to read 'be left'? Prosody (talk) 16:47, 8 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Prosody: thank you for noticing this. I had mistakenly seen it in a secondary source (bracketed)[1] and figured it must be an OCR error. But you are right - other secondary sources are clear. I should have been more careful. Onceinawhile (talk) 18:42, 8 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
