Law proposal[edit]

This isn't the law that passed, this is the law proposal by Ayelet Shaked, Yariv Levin, Robert Ilatov. The law that passed was other version of Avi Dichter. Sokuya (talk) 18:18, 26 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Sokuya: Thank you. I got this from Israeli Justice Ministry's website but they didn't say it was just a proposal. If you find an English version of the law passed on an Israeli government website so there are no copyright issues, please do let me know. I'll keep searching meanwhile. @Sokuya: I've added the final passed version from Knesset's website as Full text of Basic Law: Israel as the Nation-State of the Jewish People. If you can please, add the link of this page on the Wikipedia article. Also other websites too repeat the same text, see [1], so it is surely official and I don't see Knesset or the webpage in question claiming it was unofficial. @Sokuya: Don't want to ping you again and again, but I don’t think it’ll be appropriate to add a Wikisource page without your consent after you removed the previous one. We don't have an article to link it to. This is a proposal and the article is about the actual law that passed. I'm afraid it can confuse people and it better not to link a proposal that differ from the final version of the law. Sokuya (talk) 09:35, 6 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
