Line feed problem[edit]

For some magical reason, the keyboard return is not causing an appropriate line break to be inserted, so I had to fall back on using HTML <BR> tags. In addition the footnote isn't showing up for some reason I don't understand either. Ideas? –Pakman044 22:06, 20 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wikification[edit]

The current version of the syllabus is heavily wikified right now. Everything that I thought was reasonable to wikify, such as legal terminology, various statutes, people, and constitutional constructions. In general, everything is linked to Wikipedia (I think one or two words are to Wiktionary where the Wikipedia article is lacking). The people Wikipedia links especially may need to be revisited--it may be preferable to link them to Author pages on Wikisource.

Please do not change link of 3 U.S.C. 5 to the current US code (as stuff has been moved around--the current version, or the progeny of the election's 3 U.S.C. 5, appears to be in Title 2 now).

Each term is wikified the first time I see it in a document, and then not again. The intent though is that words appearing across documents (seperate Bush v. Gore opinions for example) would be wikified the first time in each document.

Is the wikification too heavy or just right? If the former, which areas should be toned down (I have a few ideas, but I'd like to see what other people think) –Pakman044 01:15, 25 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
