Spelling, Schuetze or Scheutze?[edit]
It seems to me, as I've laid out in Talk:Jeannette_expedition, that the ue spelling is likely correct while this State of the Union transcript has the eu spelling. The confusion over the spelling is deep and wide (for a fairly low-profile individual; no own-article in Wikipedia) but if there's any way to confirm the spelling in the transcript here from original documents or sources that would be something. Obviously if sources say the transcript is wrong, a correction here would be much appreciated. In any event, I've certainly appreciated finding the individual's mention here (far from the subject I started working on; but it's a confusion and subject hard to ignore once found) and I hope we, or I, can clear it up, some or completely.
