I do not know the exact use of the template above.
My intention is to provide information about the source of the translation on the "Fading Voices" page.
The English translation of Bolesław Prus' story, "Fading Voices", on Wikisource is an original translation by Christopher Kasparek made specifically for Wikisource and not previously published elsewhere.
The Polish-language original of the story, "Milknące głosy", is available for inspection on the Polish-language Wikisource, at [1].
