Talk:Institutes of the Christian Religion (1845)

Hi there. I've done some editing on Wikipedia in the past, but not on wikisource. Obviously I've got a lot to learn!

A copy of the excellent (annotated!) 2008 edition of this text just came into my hands and I fully intend to read it. The nature of the text is such that working through it slowly and delberately -- even if only to transcribe individual sentences one at a time -- greatly aids in comprehension.

I would appreciate any opportunity to help get the bulk of this text available online. (I wish I could find the 1559 edition in Latin, but all I can currently find of that is a scan in Google Books.)

There is a PDF of Beveridge's 1845 English translation of Calvin's Institutes available at http://www.ntslibrary.com/PDF%20Books/Calvin%20Institutes%20of%20Christian%20Religion.pdf but I can't vouch for its quality.

All the best! Xeltifon (talk) 15:12, 15 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
