Talk:The Devil's Dictionary

Need more common spelling mistakes or typo's added to the disambiguation list. I tried looking up "Devil's Dictionary" without the preceeding "The" and was directed to a "This page does not exist" thingy.

Formatting[edit]

Hi, starting from "K" I copied the Contents from http://www.gutenberg.org/dirs/etext97/dvldc10.txt into the sections here. Some formatting had to be done.

1. I put the entry for something into the following format:
' ' 'Hello, ' 'n' ' ' ' ' (but with no spaces in between), which results in Hello, n.
2. Sometimes underscores are being user for underlining as in _Hello World_. I replaced them by ', resulting in 'Hello World'.
3. When poems are pasted into a definition, they need to be indented properly by :.

I hope this is ok like this. I yesterday finished "P", and I will be continuing with copying as soon as I find the time for that.

As I see now, the substitution of the underscore characters is not necessary. I don't know why I believed I had to replace them.

Finished[edit]

I just finished copying article by article from http://www.gutenberg.org/dirs/etext97/dvldc10.txt. Some of the indendation given was interpreted by my as I thought this is ok. It's easy to re-do the copying and formatting if someone finds a mistake.
