Presentation of the document[edit]

  • A letter to all postmaster of Scotland by Edward S. Lees, then Secretary to Post-office of Scotland[1], sent in April 1840, explaining the introduction of the postage stamps (adhesive labels) and of the Mulready stationery (stamped covers and envelopes) on May 1840.
  • A picture of the document was reproduced in a commercial of Spink auction house in French Timbres magazine #93, September 2008, page 19. Sebjarod (talk) 21:23, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
