Talk:Verses upon the Burning of our House, July 18th, 1666
Does anyone know what is meant by the clause "all's vanity" in line 36?
I loved this play.
when the thing talks about her Pelf... does anyone know or understand what it means? For example, does its connontation hold any specific significance of some sort? hm.....

when she states farewell my pelf she means that she has lost all her money and everything she had of value
