I haven't been able to check this against an original, so I can't be 100% sure of its accuracy, but since I compared several independent sources, I am reasonably sure that it is all correct with the possible exception of a comma here and there. I used these four sources:

The first is a high-quality transcription from the essay as printed in The Collected Essays of Sir Winston Churchill. The last is an OCR from the newspaper article. The other two appear to be manual transcriptions from the newspaper article. The third one has the most errors, but it was good to have another independent source.
