Template:Americana article link

Purpose

This template enables linking from The Encyclopedia Americana (1920) entries to other Americana entries. This template links absolutely, so it can be used anywhere, including in the Page: namespace.

Usage

{{Americana article link|display name|name of the article|nosc=yes}}

Simple

{{Americana article link|Rotation of Crops}} gives: Rotation of Crops

Different link

Where the underlying link is different from the text, a second variable can be added to override the displayed text:

{{Americana article link|Carl Schurz|Schurz, Carl}} gives: Carl Schurz

No small caps

Where no small-caps is required, then that can be overridden:

{{Americana article link|Die Elixiere der Teufels|Die Elixiere des Teufels|nosc=yes}} gives: Die Elixiere der Teufels
