Usage[edit]
This is a template for the article An Ainu–English–Japanese Dictionary/Chapter I/Section V to construct a row in the long (and strangely formatted) table of the place names. If there is an entry under the “Japanese” column and the other two columns are merged in a row, use the “place2” template. If the entry under the “Derivation and Meaning” column is actually confined to the width of the third column, use the “place3” template. Usage:

The first two columns are tagged for language (“ja-Latn” and “ain-Latn”).
