Usage[edit]
Produces a small-caps initialism: {{BC}} → B.C.
There is a small gap between the letters (roughly the size of an HTML   as is common in typesetting. If this is not what you need, you can either target index CSS at the .wst-asc-initials class, or use {{asc}} directly. This space is made with CSS, so it will not interfere with copy-paste or searching for text like "{{{text}}}".
 | The following use of {{sc}} is incorrect, as it copy-pastes as "{{{text}}}", not "{{{text}}}": {{sc|{{{text}}}}}. Even if you do not use this template, use {{asc|{{{text}}}}}. |
