Usage[edit]
This template is used to record that a page cannot be transcribed due to a faulty scan.
It should be used whenever it is not possible to faithfully transcribe or otherwise represent the content of a page due to faults in the scan.
For fault pages that render an image unidentifiable, there is the more specific template {{Bad image scan}}.

This template adds Page: namespace pages to Category:Bad page scans, and mainspace texts to Category:Texts with bad page scans.
