Usage[edit]
This template is used for formatting the lemmas in "An Alphabetic Dictionary of the Chinese Language in the Foochow Dialect".
- Parameters
If only parameter 1 is given:
- 1: Displays the lemma with the appropriate spacing around it. See page 577 ("A coll. euphonic prefix") for an example.
Otherwise:
- 1: The tone number (see page xi).
- 2: The lemma character.
- z2: The alternative form of the lemma character, if applicable.
- 3: The pronunciation of the character in Mandarin, if applicable.
- r2: The alternative pronunciation of the character in Mandarin, if applicable.
