Purpose[edit]
This template enables linking from A Dictionary of Hymnology entries to other A Dictionary of Hymnology entries in the same edition. This template links absolutely, so it can be used anywhere, including in the Page: namespace.

Different link[edit]
Where the underlying link is different from the text, a second variable can be added to override the displayed text:

No formatting[edit]
Where no formatting is required, then that can be overridden:
{{DoH article link|Phillis Wheatley|Wheatley, Phillis|nosmall=yes}} gives: Phillis Wheatley
{{DoH article link|Phillis Wheatley|Wheatley, Phillis|nobold=yes}} gives: Phillis Wheatley
