Template:EB1922 article link/doc

Purpose

This template enables linking from 1922 Encyclopædia Britannica entries to other Encyclopædia Britannica entries, as indicated by "small caps" in the original source. This template links absolutely, so it can be used anywhere, including in the Page: namespace.

Usage

{{EB1922 article link|name of the article}}

Additional options

• where the underlying link is different from the text, a second variable can be added to override the displayed text

e.g. {{EB1922 article link|Phiz|Browne, Hablôt Knight}}

• where no small-caps is required, then that can be overridden

e.g. {{EB1922 article link|Phiz|Browne, Hablôt Knight|nosc=yes}}
