Template:Populate
(Redirected from Template:No works)
Error: The page contains a template that does not work in this namespace. Please use an appropriate template, or discuss this template. |
Usage
[edit]To be added only when there are no listings on a page, in a mandatory section where empty, regardless of whether or not the English Wikisource hosts copies of the author's work. Its purpose is to not have empty looking pages, which can be confusing.
{{populate}}
This templates categorises author pages to Authors with no works, categories to Empty categories and portals to Empty portals. Generally it would be added to Author: namespace pages, in the Works section.
The text of the template changes to suit the appropriate namespace. If used outside of the three identified namespaces, it will display an error message (as shown above).
Notes
[edit]- To be removed when works are listed, whether the works are wikilink'd or not.
- It wouldn't be used for an empty "Works about" section on an author page, it is preferred to remove that empty section.
