Usage
[edit]Note: Old style figures are a form of font variant. Enforcing a specific font variant should only be done where such a thing doesn't impact readability and provides added value to the work or helps distinguish content where such distinction was made in the original work. For more information, see Help:Fonts and WS:Manual of Style. |
This template is intended to be used in tandem with Template:Old style to produce old style figures where the "1" appears as a roman numeral. Simply put the non-1 digits in the standard Old style template and insert this template where a 1 is needed, like so:
- {{old style I}}{{old style|234567890}}
to produce:
- I234567890
Browser support may be limited. If so, the numerals will display in the default style.
